Angie's side -

The both of us met through our mutual work place, Schuck's Auto Supply. I came to work there in 2003.  I had just moved to Seattle after graduating from the University of Washington, Tacoma.  Brandon had worked there for about three years before me.  We started off as friends, more or less..... We would go out as a group, with friends and co-workers,and I always thought he was cocky and a bit of a showoff.  He was so good at everything he did - it really made me mad.  It didn't matter if it was pool or darts, or whatever.... he HAD to win.. and he usually did... which didn't help!  I am pretty competitive by nature and  it didn't help that he GLOATED so much!!  That's when I gave him the nickname of "Rat Bastard".  Our whole group of friends started calling him that because it was true!  He was a real pain in the rear when it came to winning competitions.  It was then that we developed a sort of love/hate relationship. I still remember the night it snowed so bad in Seattle and he climbed onto the roof of Schuck's and took the snow shovel and COVERED my car in snow.  It was so bad, there was no way for me to even open my door and even try to go home.  Boy, did he think that was hysterical!!  I grabbed a bunch of snow, made a snow ball (or two), and chased him round and round the back storage room.  Shortly thereafter we realized that we were both pretty cool people to hang around with and we could both give each other a bad time and have fun with it.  Ever since then, Brandon has become my very best friend.  I have leaned on him through thick and thin  and he's been there every moment.  He's the best man I could ever dream of.

Brandon's side-

Yeah, what she said....Kidding...  I definitely remember the night I covered her car in snow.  That was a highlight of my night for sure!  That was so GREAT!  You should have seen how angry she was!  I had my eye on Angie for awhile, but NEVER thought I had a chance.  I used to LOVE to gloat when I won those pool games or at darts, simply because I knew it would make her angry.  It's kind of like the bully who used to pick on the girl he liked on the playground - that's what it felt like.  I certainly never thought Angie and I would ever get together... she always seemed too serious and stand-offish.  She was shy and didn't seem to be interested in a getting into a relationship.  I remember dropping a hint to Angie that I might be interested and she told me "you're like a brother to me" - wow, that was a let down.  She eventually came to her senses though, and here we are, almost five years later, about to become husband and wife.
