Brandon & I met in 2003 and officially started dating January 9th, 2004.   To hear the story of how we met, please see "How We Met". 

Shortly there after, Brandon and I went to Italy in September 2004.  You see, when we first got together I was bound and determined to visit Italy, no matter who I took with me... Brandon just happened to be the lucky one to accompany me!  I was a little apprehensive about traveling abroad wth someone I had only dated 9 months, but I was so Italy bound, honestly, I didn't care at that point.  Luckily we got along perfectly.  I am a control freak by nature and he didn't mind the fact that I had planned out every detail of our vacation!  He was so great, he just went along with my plans and supported me 100%.  We had such a blast - it was a great experience to really get to know one another. 

The next big step was to buy a house together in June of 2005. We wanted to find a place in the middle of where we both worked - Lynnwood and Ballard, Seattle.  You know...a lot of people tried to discourage us beause we weren't married yet,  but I think deep down both of us knew that we would spend the rest of our life together and this wasn't a big risk.  We found the perfect house for us, just outside of Shoreline in Edmonds, Washington.  Neither of use knew much about this town until we moved here, but now we LOVE it.  If you ever visit, you have to eat at our favorite restaurant -Chanterelle's - it's the best food and service ever!  Since then, we've adopted a stray cat together (see "Our Pets = Oliver) and are continuing to make improvements to our front and back yards.  We weren't planning on staying in this house very long, but with the market as it is, plans have changed slightly.  We love living in Edmonds though, and when we do move, we will definately stay in the area!
